Amauta Sacred Valley
Amauta offers the unique opportunity to study Spanish in the heart of the Sacred Valley. The school is situated in the attractive village of Yanahuara, just one hour away from Cusco.
Amauta Sacred Valley is an extension of Amauta’s main school in Cusco. As a result, the school offers fewer course options in a much cozier setting. All courses include a transfer from Cusco and many students choose to spread their Spanish course over the two schools, starting in Cusco, continuing in the Sacred Valley and then finishing off their stay with a visit to the incredible Incan ruins of Machu Picchu. It is also possible to combine courses in all three of Amauta's schools: Cusco, Sacred Valley and Tambopata to make the most of the opportunity to travel around Peru.
Courses at Amauta Sacred Valley include a program of activities and excursions which may include a trip to the Maras salt mines, hiking in the hills, a cookery workshop, a tour of the town or a visit to the old Incan town Ollantaytambo.
Please note that in order to run courses at Amauta Sacred Valley, a minimum of six students must be enrolled at the same time. If your course cannot be run for your chosen date, you will be given the option to study at the Cusco school instead.
